Tonight, eight bands will be performing a Billy Joel cover and two bands will head home where they can
then perform a Billy Joel cover on their own& if they'd like. The first band
up tonight is Franklin Bridge and they'll be covering "Big Shot." They
take the arrangement, jumble it up, throw it against the wall and that's that.
The judges loved it.
Second up is Cliff Wagner and the Old # 7. They knock out a bluegrass
version of "You May Be Right." Johnny and Sheila E. liked it, and although Dicko
talked for a long time, it's hard to know exactly what he thought. We'll put him
down as a maybe.
The next band performing is Denver & the Mile High Orchestra. They cover "Tell Her
About It." The judges liked it, but they also want to see a little more from the
band next week. Now we have Dot Dot Dot, the wackiest little band in the whole wide
world. If you're in an AV club, you love Dot Dot Dot. They will be playing
"Pressure." The judges loved it.
Sixwire is also safe this week. Their song is "She's Always
A Woman." Next up is Très Bien! with "Moving Out." Johnny wished they were more
aggressive and more urgent, and Sheila E. and Dicko were also left wanting more.
The seventh band tonight is The Clark Brothers. "She's Got A Way" is their
number. The judges flat out loved it.
Only one more band will take the stage tonight. And that band is& Light of Doom. That means its goodbye for The Muggs and
Rocket. Light of Doom covers "The Stranger." The judges compliment Light of Doom
for improving each week
And that's this week. |
